Curiosity Socks - printed pattern

Curiosity Socks - printed pattern

** physical printed pattern**

Are you ready to cast on your stitches and enter the curious world of Alice in Wonderland? You will create a pair of colour work socks to represent the chess board before entering a lifeline for your afterthought heel that will make a hole that represents the hole that Alice fell down at the beginning of the story. You can then choose to stripe the heel in ever decreasing circles as your stitches become fewer and fewer, just as Alice shrunk in size. The foot of the socks are striped just like the Cheshire Cat’s tail right down to the tip. The width of the stripes is entirely up to you. Will you make them matching just like the Twins, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, or will you go for the odd stripes and be a bit of Jabberwocky in nature?

PLEASE NOTE The smaller sizes 4-6 will use approximately 140gm of yarn - black, white, light pink, bright pink, but more yarn will be required for larger sizes. Approximately 3-5gm of yarn used for each stripe on a 64 stitch count and five row stripe.
